Meet Dr. Piron
Christina was born in New Orleans, LA, and grew up in Northwest Ohio. After attending Boston University ('07) and earning a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, she achieved her Medical Degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine ('11) in Dayton, OH.
She returned to New Orleans to complete her residency at Tulane-Ochsner Pediatrics where she also served as Chief Resident before starting her professional career at a local FQHC. She and her husband, Tyler, met while living in New Orleans and decided to move back to the Jersey Shore where Tyler grew up. They now live in Little Silver, NJ, with their two children and dog, Zuzu.
Dr. Piron has a wealth of experience in general pediatrics in clinical and urgent care settings, as well as behavioral and developmental screenings and management. She also has a special interest in maternal-child health and breastfeeding medicine; and is working towards her IBCLC.
When not providing exceptional medical care to her patients, she also enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading, and baking.
"As a mother, I understand parents' concerns and their desire to do what is best for their children. As a doctor, I embrace the fact that every child has their own individual needs and will develop at their own pace. I want to develop a close relationship with all of my patients and their families by being a trusted source of information and by providing a safe place to discuss concerns in order to ensure each child's well-being."
